Mission Statement:
To preserve and enhance the Great Plain's manmade and natural resources by providing leadership and support that mobilizes all citizens to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires.
The Great Plains Fire Safe Council helps to make our community a safer, better place to live by helping to provide leadership for and coordinating Fire Safe activities. We provide public interest educational and community programs. We also encourage and participate in the preparation of surveys, studies, plans and recommendations relative to the coordination of available resources to reduce fuel and fire hazards and improve public safety. Our ultimate goal is to help protect our community from wildfire.
